Delivering strategic advice, policy studies and monitoring & evaluation work of high quality for our (semi-) public clients. On the project basis, this encompasses:
Implementation of quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies
Presentation and facilitation
Further development of the business portfolio of Technopolis Group in Africa through existing and new clients, in collaboration with the Emerging Market team:
Market surveillance for African opportunities
Coordinate, write and contribute to proposals.
Liaising with international donors and clients based in Abidjan, notably the African Development Bank: keeping aware of opportunities, presenting our portfolio and competences
Supporting and feeding Technopolis Group decisions to further expand and formalise its business activities

Technopolis Groupis an international consulting firm specialised in science, innovation and higher education policy. Thematic priorities include the green economy, entrepreneurship, private sector development and competitiveness. Our team undertakes monitoring and evaluation studies as well as foresight, strategic studies and policy design.
Clients include the European Commission and international organisations such as DfID, NORAD, African Development Bank, OECD and World Bank. We also work for national and regional policy makers, NGOs, research organisations, research funding organisations and public-private consortia. Based on thorough analysis and practical experience we provide our clients with evidence-based advice to improve their policies and the implementation thereof.
In Europe and in emerging markets, especially Africa and Latin America, Technopolis is one of the leading service providers in the areas of higher education, science, technology and innovation policies, as well having track record in key thematic areas such as global health, agriculture, private sector development and sustainability.
Examples of current and recent projects in the field of emerging markets include evaluations of Higher Education Institutes (e.g. the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences), monitoring & evaluation support to large-scale programmes (e.g. the World Bank African Centres of Excellence initiative), studies for the Donor Committee on Enterprise Development on linking Business Environment Reform (BER) and an evaluation of demonstration and feasibility projects for SMEs looking to export to emerging markets for the Dutch RVO.nl.
