Off-Grid Project is a four-year USAID-funded project to promote off-grid
electrification in 18 countries in East, Central and West Africa. The project
is headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa. PAOP provides technical assistance
to key sector stakeholders, including private sector off-grid companies,
investors and government agencies.
The West Africa Regional
Manager: will be responsible for the management of regional advisors and
subject matter experts based in the following countries the project operates in:
Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Niger, and
This position is a full-time role based in West Africa and this
position reports to the project’s Chief of Party.
management of lead country advisors in West Africa.
the development, maintenance and adherence to PAOP standard operating

and evaluation process.
Ensure staff development and career progression. Ensure
practices in place to ensure/drive towards a high level of staff morale and

Work closely with PAOP HR manager in ensuring
staff compliance with RTI policies and procedures.
Minimum Required Education & Experience
Master’s degree and 12 years of experience or
Bachelor’s Degree and 16 years of experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience - A degree in an area of international development
(education, governance, public works, public administration, health policy,
economic) or other relevant fields
