About you
The objective of the activity is to develop a Road Safety Engagement Strategy for the KIAT facility. You will be expected to develop this strategy based on stakeholder consultations with relevant GoI ministries and departments including but not limited to Bappenas, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Public Works & Housing especially the Directorate General of Highways, other bilateral donors and multilateral development banks and civil society.

About the program
Cardno was awarded a design and implement contract for the Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure(or Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur - KIAT) that is an Australian Government funded program working with Indonesia to promote infrastructure development. KIAT is targeting priority infrastructure reform areas and the preparation and delivery of high quality infrastructure projects. KIAT will work with a range of stakeholders across GOI, multilateral development banks, the private sector, and civil society to target:

  1. Improved GOI policy and regulatory framework for infrastructure development
  2. High quality projects prepared and financed by GOI, the private sector and / or MDBs
  3. High quality infrastructure delivery, management and maintenance by GOI

This is a senior level position and will be remunerated in line with the Australian Government’s Adviser Remuneration Framework, Short Term Adviser Daily Rate Tables ( and will fall within Discipline Group C, Job Level 4. The remuneration at which the Adviser is engaged will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience.
