Project HOPE is looking for a Senior Director, Corporations & Foundations to hold one of the most senior roles within HOPE’s Development and Communication team. This position will have significant interaction at the highest level of donor companies, high-value individuals and influential foundations. This role reports to the VP, Chief Development & Communications Officer, and will also interact frequently with HOPE’s members of the Board of Directors and other major donors on behalf of HOPE.
We are looking for a seasoned leader with deep experience working with Corporations and Foundations. The ideal candidate will manage the relationship with Project HOPE’s esteemed list of corporate partners and foundations. The role is responsible for developing and leading the overarching strategy to build new; and grow existing relationships which are vital to the organization’s funding model around the world. This includes meeting or exceeding annual corporate restricted and unrestricted revenue objectives; including cash and GIK (gifts in kind); signature program goals; as well as revenues associated with foundation grants. Additionally, s/he will build a strong portfolio of corporate partners working together to create affinity and cause marketing programs; and emergency response signature partnerships; in order to grow profile and unrestricted funds.
S/he will lead a three-person team including a Director, Partnerships; Manager, Foundations; and a Manager, Events. The Senior Director is responsible for the success of individual and team growth and performance to reach annual revenue goals. The position is located in Millwood, VA (about 15 miles from Winchester, VA) with the opportunity to work out of our metro-accessible Bethesda, MD office.
