The Data, Informatics, and Analytical Solutions (DIAS) Practice at Palladium offers an end-to-end suite of services around data – all geared towards helping our clients use the best available and most appropriate information for decision making and planning. DIAS Practice supports Informatics, MERL, data analytics and modeling offerings for Palladium.

Informatics, under DIAS Practice, is a dynamic and innovative group with talented and passionate members working toward the goal of improving informed decision making and implementation efficiency of international development projects. Our team has extensive experience developing various flexible information systems for data collection, reporting and enhanced data use for a variety of users with disparate technical capacities in international development field.

The DIAS Technical Advisor will be responsible as technical lead for international development informatics projects, provide technical inputs and expertise in information system development and implementation, and support business development.

* Build the capacity of staff and organization in health informatics
* Engage with stakeholders and partners within the health and other international development sectors
* Collaborate with Country Managers, COP, and SI/M&E Advisors in assigned countries and at headquarters to lead the design and development of new technology innovations and to coordinate informatics solutions to MERL and data analytics.
* Manage and support staff to ensure effective work planning and implementation, efficient use of human and material resources, and appropriate monitoring for capturing desired results.
* Work with the software development team to assure quality of applications before implementation, including conducting software testing, and to ensure the completeness of software documentation.
* Support business development activities by leading capture management, providing informatics components, contributing to technical proposals, and recommending strategies, informatics solutions, and implementation schedules, as assigned.
* Formulate new technology partnerships and collaborations, strengthening relationships for country ownership of projects.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or informatics
* Minimum 7 years of experience managing software development projects
* Minimum 3 years of field experience developing and deploying software in low- and middle-income countries
