Job Description

Proposal Summary:

MSI is recruiting a Technical Advisor/Subject Matter Expert for an evaluation services task order issued under the U.S Department of State Performance Management and Evaluation Services IDIQ contract. This task order will procure evaluation services for the Bureau of Counterterrorism. This is a proposal opportunity at this time with a potential to lead to an employment opportunity.

Position Summary:

The technical advisors/subject matter experts will support the team lead to ensure the submission of high-quality, relevant, accurate and timely deliverables responsive to task order and client needs.

Responsibilities:

· Support team lead in the development of sound evaluation tools tailored to the context of DOS’ Bureau of Counterterrorism

· Advise the team on unique challenges and opportunities facing the Bureau that may affect the programs under evaluation

· Play key role in data collection and analysis

Qualifications:

· Experience working with or within the Department of State Bureau of Counterterrorism or in a comparable role, highly preferred.

· Degree in public affairs, international relations, security studies, or a comparable program.

· Strong interpersonal, data management, reporting, writing and analytical skills; attention to detail and the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment, exemplified self-management, project management and strategic thinking and the skills and ability to gather and maintain information
