We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Technical Director, Private Sector Engagement.
Program Description:
The anticipated 5-year USAID-funded activity will be designed to work with the Government of the Philippines, education and training institutions, and the private sector to develop qualifications aligned to the needs of industries, strengthen quality assurance among education and training institutions, and improve the information flowing between industries, jobseekers, education and training institutions, students/ trainees, and government. The activity outcomes will include better jobs-skills alignments, productivity, demand for qualified professionals and technicians, enhanced employability, and strengthened competitiveness of Philippines-based enterprises in local, regional and global markets.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
The Technical Director for Private Sector Engagement will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of project activities that seek to collaborate with the private sector to develop or improve employment qualifications and supporting curriculum and/or training courses to better align with business needs. The Director will be responsible for engaging with private sector leaders, representatives of trade and business associations and small businesses at the national and local levels.
