Job Description

Tetra Tech DPK (Tt DPK) seeks candidates for the anticipated USAID-funded Rule of Law Project in Laos. The purpose of this program is to support the Government of Laos PDR (GoL) in 1) strengthening and professionalizing informal village mediation units, 2) development of legal education and services at the local level, and 3) development of the legal profession.

Applicants should be Laotian nationals or other nationals with experience in Laos/Southeast Asia.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Access to Justice
    • Legal education and legal aid
    • Alternative Dispute Resolution/Mediation
    • Capacity development of government/public officials and/or judicial staff and justice institutions
    • CSO capacity building
    • Development of Bar Associations
    • Gender mainstreaming
    • Public private partnerships
    • Finance and administration
    • Grants management
    • Project communications and public outreach campaigns
    • Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
  • Prior experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred
  • Proficiency in English is required for certain positions
