ADB Approves Loans for Environment, Health Initiatives in Bangladesh

The Asian Development Bank has approved

for environmental and health initiatives in Bangladesh. The first loan worth USD70 million will be spent on a program to improve the financial sustainability, management, governance and service delivery of environment and public health agencies in the country. Meanwhile, food safety and waste management programs will benefit from the second loan, worth USD60 million.
