ADB, Bangladesh Ink Loan Agreement for Road Development Project

The Asian Development Bank will provide $60 million for rural road rehabilitation and the improvement of market facilities in poor districts across Bangladesh.

The loan will support Bangladesh’s Sustainable Rural Infrastructure Improvement Project, which aims to upgrade 800 kilometers of road in 21 districts in the southwest and northwest regions of the country, Xinhua News reports.
