ADB commits USD126M for Indian towns

The Asian Development Bank has pledged at least USD126 million to buttress efforts at developing the urban areas in the two ancient Indian towns of Gaya and Bodh Gaya. The funding will be disbursed to jumpstart the first of three phases for the project, which will ultimately involve such activities as the upgrading of the towns’ drainage system, water supply, and waste management facilities.
