ADB Earmarks Aid for Mongolian Herders

The Asian Development Bank is granting USD2.5 million to help nomadic herders in Mongolia deal with the adverse impacts of severe weather conditions. The sum will be used to provide food, fuel, and health and social services to Mongolian herders reeling from heavy snow and extremely low temperatures. China, Russia and Turkey are also offering relief aid to affected communities in the nation.
