The Asian Development Bank has pledged
to support emergency relief efforts in the Philippines, where millions were affected by the worst flooding the country experienced in more than 40 years. The grant will be drawn from the bank's Asia Pacific Disaster Response Fund and will be spent to provide water, medicines and health services to flood-affected families in the country.
