ADB Forum Tackles Clean Energy Technologies

The Asian Development Bank has kicked off the annual Asia Clean Energy Forum in its Manila headquarters.

The June 21-25 event enables lawmakers, energy specialists, investors and project managers to tackle investments and technologies on clean energy initiatives in Asia and the Pacific, according to the bank. It will deal with the broad use of low-carbon and clean energy technologies through a wide range of initiatives such as the Asia Solar Energy Initiative.

ADB collaborated with the U.S. Agency for International Development, World Resources Institute, and the governments of Australia, Japan, Norway, Spain and Sweden to organize the event.
