ADB Funds Indian State’s Highway Improvement

The Asian Development Bank is lending USD315 million to finance plans by India’s Karnataka state to overhaul its highways. The project aims to upgrade 600 kilometers of roads and enhance road planning, programming, operation, maintenance and safety in Karnataka.
