ADB Helps Bangladesh Build Bridge

The Asian Development Bank is lending

to help finance a bridge that will span the Padma River and connect Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka, with several coastal districts in the southwest. The Islamic Development Bank and Japan International Cooperation Agency are also supporting this project.
