ADB, Japan to Help Mitigate Water Disasters

The

will draw USD2 million from the Japan Special Fund to boost water disaster management in Asia. The grant aims to support new approaches in flood management in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and the lower Mekong River basin. Workshops and training will be also provided to build the capacities of sector professionals and bolster emergency response services.
