ADB Offers Post-Conflict Credit to Georgia

The Asian Development Bank will lend USD40 million to help reconstruct Georgia’s sanitation, water supply, waste management and road transport services following the country’s recent armed dispute with Russia. The ADB will issue the money to Georgia’s Municipal Development Fund, which will then distribute it to local governments.
