ADB Promises Funding for China's Wetland Cleanup Program

The Asian Development Bank will disburse USD45 million to support a project that aims to clean up Jiaozhou Bay wetlands in China. The money will be used to construct or modernize wastewater, sewerage and flood management facilities. The city of Jiaozhou pledged counterpart funding of USD60.8 million.
