ADB Provides Economic Recovery Aid to Samoa

The Asian Development Bank is lending USD26.8 million to help the Samoan economy recover from the global downturn and the September 2009 tsunami. The sum comprises USD16 million for the first phase of the Economic Recovery Support Program and USD10.8 million for the second phase.
