ADB Supports Urban Development in 3 Nepalese Towns

The Asian Development Bank will provide USD60 million for the expansion of boundaries and the improvement of basic facilities in the Nepalese towns of Biratnagar, Birgunj and Butwal, the Himalayan Times reports. The project aims to develop the three towns into regional cities with enough quality infrastructure for more than five million people.
