ADB Ups Economic Aid to Vietnam

The Asian Development Bank has approved a new loan worth USD500 million to boost the economy of Vietnam,

reports. The loan will help finance Vietnam's public expenditure programs. "This USD500 million fiscal stimulus loan is timely to support Vietnam's efforts to bolster its domestic economy and ensure social stability during a critical time," said ADB Country Director for Vietnam Ayumi Konishi.
