ADB, World Bank Earmark Energy Subsidy to Pakistan

The Asian Development Bank and World Bank will provide 67 billion Pakistani rupees ($817 million) in electricity subsidy to consumers in Pakistan during the current fiscal year,

reported. The Pakistani government is currently providing 122 billion Pakistani rupees to electricity consumers.
