AfDB Backs Power Scheme in Great Lakes Region

Some $2 million in grant from the African Development Bank will be made available to improve electricity networks in Africa's Great Lakes region. The grant,

reports, will help execute the $250 million energy project involving Nile equatorial lakes countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo.
