AfDB Backs Tanzania Transport Program

The African Development Bank will provide USD233.3 million in loans to help finance a transportation project in Tanzania. Of the sum, USD2.5 million will be spent on the Dar-es-Salaam-Isaka-Kigali/Keza-Musongati Railway Project Study, while the remaining USD230.8 million will be used for the first phase of the country’s road sector support project.
