The African Development Bank's lending this year is due to hit $11 billion, nearly double the volume in 2008 worth $5.8 billion, AfDB President Donald Kaberuka told

. The funding, Kaberuka added, will back budget support operations, infrastructure projects, trade finance and liquidity programs.
