Afghan Children Benefit From Anti-Polio Drive

Around 2.8 million Afghan children below 5 years old will receive anti-polio vaccine in a three-day joint campaign launched Feb. 14 by the government, UNICEF and World Health Organization. More than 15,000 health workers were sent to cover the country’s 14 provinces. Similar drive has reached 7.5 million children in 2009.
