China has committed USD10 billion in loans to Africa in the next three years and offered debt relief to some of the poorest governments in the region,

reports. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao also revealed that the donor Asian nation will back 100 clean energy projects for Africa over the same period to help the continent deal with climate change.
