American Red Cross Responds to Haiti Cholera Epidemic

The American Red Cross has donated USD1.5 million to the Pan American Health Organization in response to the growing cholera epidemic in quake-hit Haiti.

The money will be used to buy, transport, store and distribute IV fluids, among other essential supplies, which will be distributed with the help of Haiti’s Ministry of Public Health and Population, the American Red Cross said in its website.
