AmeriCares Maps out Long-term Response in Haiti

AmeriCares has pledged to provide USD50 million for its long-term plan to help rebuild Haiti’s health-care system. The funds will be used to deliver urgent medical assistance, provide child and maternal health care, protect orphans and other vulnerable children, rebuild key health care facilities, increase access to quality medical treatments and provide training sessions to local health care workers.
