AusAid 2010-2015 Priority: Financial Services

Australia aims to help people in the developing world gain better access to financial services in the coming years. Under its new 2010-2015 strategy, AusAid will assist both formal and informal financial institutions in offering affordable, fair and quality financial services, including microfinance and mobile phone banking options. The country will also promote financial literacy programs to help poor people better understand financing and financial services.
