Australian Prime Minster Julia Gillard unveiled her new cabinet Sept. 11, Reuters reports. The lineup includes former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd as foreign minister, former foreign minister Stephen Smith as minister for defense and former union leader Greg Combet as minister for climate change. Several cabinet officials kept their post, including Wayne Swan in the treasury and Martin Ferguson in resources and energy.

Forming her cabinet was Gillard’s first opportunity to make her mark on the Australian government since overthrowing Rudd earlier this year. Gillard was not able to make key cabinet changes when she first became prime minister, Reuters notes.
