Australia Tweaks Pakistan Scholarship

Pakistani professionals engaged or interested in maternal and child health, education, rural development, governance and food security can benefit from the newest wave of scholarships programs offered by Australia, Express Pakistan reports. The scholarships are part of and existing AusAID scholarship program, which was redesigned to align with Pakistan’s development goals. The revamp of the program includes changes in the selection process that aim to ensure fair access to disadvantaged people and women.

Australia also encouraged candidates from the North-West Frontier province, Balochistan and other conflict-torn provinces to apply. Ideal candidates include practitioners, policymakers and advocates both in the government and in civil society organizations.
