Textile workers and the Bangladeshi police clashed Monday (August 2) on the fourth day of protests as workers continue to demand higher wages. At least 70 people were injured in various clashes around the country’s capital, Reuters reports. This brings the total number of injured to 300. Monday’s clashes occurred despite labor leaders agreeing to new pay structures that were unveiled last week.
