Belgian Aid Agency Lauded as Belgium's Top Employer in 2011

Belgian Minister for Development Cooperation Olivier Chastel has congratulated the Belgian Technical Cooperation for being the country’s top employer for 2011.

An independent study by the Corporate Research Foundation Institute has granted BTC with the distinction. The study examined human resource management policies of more than 40 organizations in the private and nonprofit sectors.

“[I]t is always very stimulating to be subject to scrutiny by independent experts, but it is also the best way to arrive at a credible benchmark and to accurately map out the areas for improvement,” Krista Verstraelen, BTC’s human resources manager, said in a statement.
