Belize Secures USD15M World Bank Aid

The World Bank will provide USD15 million for a municipal development project in Belize. The loan will finance improvements to critical infrastructure, particularly drainage and traffic management facilities, in several municipalities across the country. The loan will also support capacity building initiatives that aim to improve the strategic and financial management capabilities of local municipal officials, according to a World Bank news release.
