Benin Road Project Secures OFID Backing

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ Fund for International Development is offering USD11 million to help rebuild a road in northern Benin.

The rehabilitation of the Kandi-Segbana-Nigeria border road seeks to enhance access to an agricultural production area, improve the transport of goods and passengers, and promote regional integration among Benin, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
