An appeals court in Botswana ruled Jan. 27 that indigenous Bushmen can now drill water wells in the Kalahari Game Reserve. Botswana’s government had claimed that the presence of Bushmen was putting wildlife at risk. The appeals court overturned an earlier decision, The Associated Press reports.
