Brazil, UNHCR Boost Cooperation

    The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Brazil have signed a new agreement, which formalizes the Latin American nation’s financial support for the agency’s operations.

    Brazilian youth will also gain exposure to the work of UNHCR at its Geneva headquarters and field offices worldwide as part of the agreement.

    Brazil has donated USD3.2 million to UNHCR this year.
