Brunei Bank Creates Haiti Relief Fund

A Brunei bank has set up a fund where donors may deposit donations to support humanitarian efforts in quake-ravaged Haiti, the Brunei Times reports.

The Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad Humanitarian Fund aims to raise cash to help relief and rebuilding efforts in Haiti, where close to some 300,000 lives were lost in a 7.0 quake on Jan.12. Donors may send aid through deposits to BIBD account 01-001-01-0040240 or through donation boxes in BIBD branches around Brunei.
