Luxembourg has committed euro62.9 million (USD84 million) to help reduce poverty in Burkina Faso.
The funding will target development initiatives particularly those in the environmental sector, Marie Josee Jacobs, Luxembourg’s minister of cooperation and humanitarian action, was cited by The Associated Press as saying. Part of the funding will also support United Nations-administered programs, the official added.
