Burkina Faso to Receive AfDB Energy Support

Burkina Faso is expected to receive USD38 million from the African Development Bank, Reuters reports. The concessionary loan will finance the rehabilitation and extension of power supply into several previously uncovered rural areas in the country. The funds will also support the construction of electricity interconnectors with Ghana and Ivory Coast.
