Burundi's senate has rejected a draft law that criminalizes homosexuality. The draft proposed a sentence of three months to two years in prison for homosexual conduct. US-based group Human Rights Watch (HRW) has warned that the country would be in breach of international human rights treaties if the legislation is passed. (BBC)
