The conclusion of the partnership between Burundi’s National AIDS Control Council and the Burundi Network for People Living with HIV has made access to medication for AIDSdifficult for thousands of HIV-positive Burundians. The network has helped to provide free medical care to an estimated 22,000 members. The two organizations’ agreement ended in April 2010, IRIN reports.
