Burundi Power Project Attracts AfDB Funding

The African Development Bank has approved a USD2.7 million grant to support a power project in Bujumbura in Burundi,

reports. The project covers several districts where there is a serious lack of street and household lighting and sanitation facilities, which has contributed to the rise of security and health problems in the city.
