Canada Continues Funding for Displaced Burmese

The Canadian International Development Agency assured displaced Burmese of continued support, RTTNews reports. It will channel USD15.9 million in the next five years through Inter Pares Canada, which supports food assistance, health care and human rights programs for Burmese living near the Thailand-Myanmar border. The agency granted USD12.9 million to the same initiative for the previous five years.
