Canada Extends Support to Food Security Research Initiative

The Canadian International Food Security Research Fund will begin its second phase in 2012-2013, according to the Canadian prime minister’s office.

CIFSRF is a partnership between the Canadian International Development Agency and the International Development and Research Center. It funds a broad range of research projects designed to address problems of access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food in developing countries.
