CARE Staff Member Killed in Darfur, UN Reports

A person working for the aid agency CARE International was killed in Darfur following an apparent robbery, according to the United Nations-African Union peacekeeping mission in the Sudanese region.

The victim, a Sudanese national, was attacked Jan. 7 in the town of Gereida, the mission said in a statement e-mailed to Bloomberg.
