CFIF calls for proposals on financial product development for climate change

The Climate Finance Innovation Facility is inviting applications for the development of financial products and services from financial institutions based in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Among the activities eligible for support are:

  • Feasibility studies

  • Market assessments

  • Business planning

  • Regulatory and environmental analyses

  • Capacity building

  • Training

  • Marketing

  • Procedural development

  • Other business support activities, as approved

Funding will be in the form of grants that cover up to 50 percent of actual costs, dispersed in milestone-based tranches.
