CGIAR Enlists Google's Help to Widen Readership of Research

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research has partnered with Google to make CGIAR’s publications on fisheries, livestock, forestry, plant genetics, water management, food policy and the cultivation of food crops instantly searchable over the Internet. The two began their partnership in 2005, when CGIAR Centers handed its books to Google Book Search for scanning, an effort entirely funded by Google.
